MBMC Racing isn’t just a race team—it’s a family-driven journey into the thrilling world of quarter midget racing! Founded as the launching pad for 6-year-old driver Maclan Moreau, we’re igniting a passion for speed, skill, and competition on the track.
Maclan tears up the asphalt as part of the NASCAR Youth Series, competing at the legendary NCQMA Speedway in Salisbury, NC. As a proud member of the North Carolina Quarter Midget Association, he goes head-to-head with some of the best young drivers across the Eastern U.S., pushing limits and chasing checkered flags.
Our home track is a hotspot for the future stars of racing, drawing families and competitors from across the Carolinas, the Southeast, and the Midwest. The annual Carolina Clash alone attracts over 200 drivers and nearly 1,500 spectators, while regional and national events bring in upwards of 4,000 passionate fans.

Each year MBMC Racing’s home track hosts more than 20 race weekends which draw participants from all over the Carolinas, the Southeast, Upper Midwest, and Great Plains. The track’s signature event, the Carolina Clash, welcomes more than 200 youth drivers and their families to our track, with attendance of 1,000 people across this exciting weekend. In addition, MBMC Racing competes in the Southeast Dixie Shootout Series, as well as NASCAR Youth Series national races, which bring in participants from across the country. These events attract anywhere from 1,500 to 4,000 spectators during a single race weekend.

In his debut year on the track, Maclan made an unforgettable impression, clinching 2 thrilling race wins and securing numerous podium finishes on the local, regional, and national circuits!
The pinnacle of his rookie season? A powerful 3rd place finish at the prestigious NASCAR Youth Series National Race at the iconic Brickyard!
