Racing With Purpose
MBMC Racing is a family-driven youth motorsports team based in Mooresville, North Carolina, competing locally, regionally, and nationally in asphalt quarter midget racing.
At the center of our program is 8-year-old driver Maclan Moreau, but our story is about much more than what happens on the racetrack.
We use racing as a platform to develop character, strengthen family, inspire perseverance, and build meaningful relationships with people and businesses who believe in pursuing excellence together.
More Than a Race Team
MBMC Racing was founded in 2023 when our family entered the world of quarter midget racing.
What began as an opportunity for Maclan to race quickly became something much bigger.
Racing challenges us. It brings our family together. It has introduced us to incredible people across the country. And it continues to provide opportunities to teach lessons that extend far beyond motorsports.
Faith. Family. Preparation. Perseverance. Humility. Responsibility.
Those values shape how we prepare, how we compete, how we respond when things do not go our way, and how we represent the people and businesses who become part of our journey.

Where We Race
From Our Home Track to the National Stage
MBMC Racing's home is NCQMA Speedway in Salisbury, North Carolina, but our schedule takes the team far beyond our home track.
Throughout the season, we compete in club championships, regional series, major invitational events, and NASCAR Youth Series national races alongside youth racers and families from across the United States.
A typical season includes more than 40 race events, ranging from one-day club races to multi-day national events.
Every new track presents a different challenge.
Every race weekend provides another opportunity to learn.
And every destination adds new people and experiences to the journey.
Meet Maclan
Driver | #HaveFaith
Maclan Moreau is an 8-year-old third-grade student and youth race car driver from Mooresville, North Carolina.
Competing in the Junior Honda and Junior 160 classes, Maclan races throughout the year at the local, regional, and national level.
His home track is North Carolina Quarter Midget Association Speedway in Salisbury, North Carolina, where he competes in the NCQMA Championship Series. Beyond North Carolina, MBMC Racing travels throughout the Southeast and across the country for NASCAR Youth Series national events, the Dixie Shootout Series, select Midwest Thunder events, and other premier quarter midget races.
In 2026, Maclan was also selected to participate in the Petty Performance EDGE Program, providing another opportunity to learn, develop, and continue growing within motorsports.
Maclan loves competing and wants to win every time he puts on his helmet — but some of racing's most important lessons have come on the days when winning wasn't the outcome.
Preparation. Patience. Sportsmanship. Resilience. Responsibility.
